MEET GINA

I’ve been a Physical Therapist since 2002 and a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2015.

In 2008, I became burnt out from working in the traditional insurance-driven system where I saw patients spending more time on exercise equipment, e-stim, hot packs and cold packs than one-on-one with their physical therapist.

Patients were not receiving the care they deserved, and I knew that I had more to offer them.

Luckily, I had been introduced to John F. Barne’s Myofascial Release in 2006. Myofascial release taught me to slow down, quiet my mind, and to feel into and listen to my patient's connective tissue.

When I did this, my patients reported decreased pain and symptoms, improved energy, and a better quality of life.

A better approach

  • Are you tired of not being seen or heard by your medical practitioners?

  • Have you experienced dismissal or gaslighting during medical appointments?

  • Have you been told that it’s all in your head?

  • Have you been through PT before and actually felt worse afterwards?

  • Have you been to numerous practitioners without finding long lasting relief or results?

If you’ve answered yes to any of these questions, you are in the right place! I promise to listen with kindness & compassion.

Gina says…

“The deep connection and trusting relationship I have with my patients provides me with a fuller understanding of their challenges and struggles.

Inspired by my patients, I began to specialize in treating people with hypermobility spectrum disorder (HSD), hypermobile EDS (hEDS), dysautonomia, postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS), myalgic encephalomyelitis, chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS) and long COVID.

Working with people who have these conditions has been incredibly fulfilling and rewarding.”

As a passionate life long learner,  I continue to add more training and modalities to my practice every year.

As a fellow human who has had her own health struggles, I see you. I hear you. I understand.

Additionally, I was the proud recipient of the “Ben’s Bells” award in 2022, given to community members for their acts of kindness.

"Gina is the real deal! I felt I made more progress in one session with her than 3 years of going to various specialists from acupuncture, cupping, massage, neurologists, etc."

"Gina's work has helped me regain my ability to walk relatively pain free. When I began treatment, I struggled to walk a mile without having to take rest breaks to relieve pain. I now regularly walk four miles without rest. She also relieved my severe headaches. Before Gina treated me, I often had to go to bed by 6:30 p.m.to try to sleep off my headache. Within a month of receiving treatment with Gina, the headaches have disappeared."

"Myofascial release is an excellent treatment to complement any health care regimen. The work is subtle and yet profound, reaching depths that some more direct styles of bodywork do not. Gina is kind and caring, she listens to my concerns and addresses them. Gina is patient and intuitive, skilled and confident in her work."

"I can't thank Gina enough for listening, and treating me as an individual. Often times when you have a laundry list of diagnoses, a practioner will glaze over and get half of it wrong. Not so with Gina. She has always gone above and beyond in my care and treatment plan including followups to see how I was progressing on new at-home techniques.”
